in the Northern Murray-Darling Basin

The Australian Government, through the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, is inviting eligible water rights owners in the Queensland Condamine Balonne and New South Wales Border Rivers catchments to tender for the sale of their water rights. This strategic initiative aims to secure approximately 13.57 gigalitres (GL) of long-term diversion limit equivalence (LTDLE) to support the Sustainable Diversion Limits under the Murray-Darling Basin Plan.
