Do you have temporary water to sell?

Waterfind's online water market enables you to sell water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It provides a simple and secure way for licence holders to sell water which is no longer needed or has been saved through increased efficiencies.

Temporary water sales are conducted via an order system, which facilitates instantaneous transactions and provides greater control and flexibility for our clients.

There are two ways for registered clients to sell water:

  1. Sell water instantly to an existing 'Bid to buy' (Bids to buy are seen on the left hand side of the market page).
  2. Place a customised 'Offer to sell' (sell order) onto the market (Offers to sell are seen on the right hand side of the market page).

In order to sell water online, you must have an approved water licence on your Waterfind account.

Steps for selling water online

  1. Login to your online trading account (don't have an account? Click here to register).
  2. From your account homepage, click the 'Sell from' button next to the licence that you wish to trade from.
  3. From here you can choose to sell water instantly or place a customised sell order.
  4. Once the sale is in progress, Waterfind will coordinate the necessary contract documentation and regulatory approvals.
